CRX

CRX (formerly known as Chroma) is a DJ from Santa Catarina, Brazil, currently based in Curitiba. Her sonic research explores hybrid rhythms and dissident productions within contemporary electronic music. Rooted in experimentation and the physicality of the dancefloor, her sound moves through hard drum, percussive techno, bass music, trance, hyperpop, and the many intersections of global club music.

Her sets balance intensity with sensitivity, weaving together tribal pulses, broken low-end, hypnotic melodies, and emotional textures into fluid, unpredictable narratives. Shifting between heavy bass-driven energy and ethereal soundscapes, CRX creates immersive atmospheres that combine rhythmic impact with melodic depth and emotional resonance.

With over a decade of experience, CRX has performed for and collaborated with several influential Brazilian platforms and collectives, including ODD (São Paulo), A-mig (Belo Horizonte), Goma Rec. (Porto Alegre), Cereal Melodia (São Paulo), SNM (Brasília), Connect (São Paulo), Rádio Veneno (São Paulo), and Alataj (Santa Catarina). Her productions have also been released through international labels such as FormerCity Records (Germany), J.A.D.E. (France), Tram Planet Records (USA), Corpus (Germany), and Santa Sede (Argentina).

In her home state of Santa Catarina, she has established a strong presence across Florianópolis' leading parties and clubs, as well as events throughout the region. She has also performed at events including Sangra Muta (São Paulo), Pane (Porto Alegre), Diesel (Porto Alegre), Silver/TAPE + Drona (São Paulo), and Pulsa (Curitiba). Throughout her career, she has shared lineups with international artists such as XDB, Jensen Interceptor, and DVS1, alongside prominent Brazilian acts including RHR, L_cio, DAVIS, Valentina Luz, and Kenya20hz. She is currently a resident DJ at Slut Rave and Function FM.
